We aim to reply within 2 business days. If your question is about an App Store subscription, please include your device model and the approximate purchase date. Never send passwords or payment card details.

Privacy Policy

Opaline is built to need as little of your data as possible.

No account is required. Opaline does not ask you to sign in and does not collect your name, email address or phone number.

Screen Time data stays on your device. Opaline uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time APIs to shield the apps you choose. Apple provides these as opaque tokens, so Opaline never learns which specific apps you selected and that information never leaves your iPhone.

Your settings are local. Focus settings, schedules and streaks are stored on your device.

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Purchases are handled by the App Store and by RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. We receive an anonymous subscriber identifier and your subscription status. We never receive your payment card details.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

You can revoke Screen Time access at any time in Settings, then Screen Time. Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device.

Terms of Use

By using Opaline you agree to these terms.

Opaline is a self-control tool. It helps you limit your own use of apps on your own device. It is not a parental-control service and does not manage anyone else's device.

Opaline Plus is an auto-renewing subscription offered monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.

Opaline is provided as is. We work to keep shielding reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service and we are not liable for time spent on apps you intended to block.

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
