The short version
GymVault does not collect your data. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Your training log is stored on your device and stays there unless you choose to export it.
What GymVault stores, and where
Everything the app knows about you lives on your device:
- Your workouts, sets, weights, reps and effort ratings
- Your routines and weekly plan
- Your body-weight entries and goal
- Your onboarding answers and app settings
This is written to your device local storage and to a file in the app private data directory. It is not transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app deletes it.
What GymVault does not do
- No account, sign-up or login of any kind
- No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or advertising SDKs
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no Advertising Identifier
- No selling or sharing of personal information
- No profiling and no automated decision-making about you
Network connections
The app works fully offline. It makes only two kinds of outbound connection:
- Exercise images and demonstration clips are fetched from a public content delivery network the first time you view them. These requests carry no identifier and no account.
- Subscription processing is handled by Apple or Google, and by RevenueCat, which manages subscription state on our behalf.
